Vibecraft from Yandex: AI platform for creating sites and applications without code

June 25, 2026 at the festival Young Con Yandex B2B Tech announced the opening of public access to Vibecraft – a service for creating websites and web applications based on text description. Prior to this, the platform worked in closed testing: during this time, users created more than 1,000 projects, and more than half of the applications turned out to be not simple landing pages, but application services – trackers, CRM systems, tools for internal business processes.
Let’s understand how Vibecraft is designed, what really can and for whom it makes sense.
What is it and where did it come from
Vibecraft is a product of Yandex B2B Tech, which combines corporate services of Yandex: Yandex Cloud and Yandex 360. The total revenue of the division by the end of 2025 amounted to 48.2 billion rubles with an increase of 48% year-on-year - this is the context in which Yandex invests in Vibecraft: not an experiment of a small team, but a strategic product of a growing B2B direction.
In April 2026, the company applied to Rospatent for registration of the Vibecraft trademark. In May, she opened the pre-record and began closed testing. In June, public access.
You can try it at vibe.sourcecraft.dev. Each new user receives 4,000 neurocredits for testing without payment.
How it works
The principle that Yandex calls “generative design”: the user describes the task with text – the AI assistant asks clarifying questions, and then independently forms the structure and assembles a working prototype.
The order of interaction looks like this:
- User describes idea in chat with AI assistant
- The assistant clarifies: for which audience the service is created, what functions are needed, how they will be used
- Vibecraft proposes project structure based on answers
- Prototype assembly – according to participants of closed testing, the first result can be obtained in 5-10 minutes
- The finished site or application is published directly on the user’s own domain
The key position of Yandex, which should be taken literally: “Unlike traditional website builders, Vibecraft’s capabilities are limited only by the user’s imagination and infrastructure: the service creates a product for a specific task, rather than selecting a suitable template.”.
What can you do
Judging by the official description and data from closed testing, the range is wider than that of a typical landing page designer:
Sites: Landings, corporate sites, personal pages, business cards.
Applied services: CRM systems, task trackers, online surveys, internal business tools.
Web applications with functionality: User’s personal account, directory, file download form, built-in database, corporate design.
Non-standard formats: mini-games and other atypical tasks for designers - Yandex mentions them explicitly in the list.
More than half of the applications to Vibecraft were related to the development of application services, not just sites. This suggests that users themselves are drawn to more complex scenarios – the platform supports them.
Technical basis: three whales
Vibecraft is not an isolated product – it is built on three components of the Yandex B2B Tech ecosystem that work together:
SourceCraft - Storage and management of code. All code generated by Vibecraft is stored in the SourceCraft repository and belongs to the user. This is an important detail: if the project outgrows the prototype level and requires professional revision, the developers get access to the ready-made code base, and not to the closed “black box” of the designer.
Yandex Cloud - Hosting and Infrastructure The data is stored on Yandex Cloud servers. For Russian users, this means compliance with the requirements of FZ-152 without additional settings, stable access from Russia without the risk of blocking the CDN, and no dependence on foreign payment systems.
Yandex AI Studio - neural network models responsible for generation. Specific models are not publicly named, but we are talking about Yandex’s own generative models, modified for code generation and web structures.
Price: Neurocredit and subscription
The monetization model is a subscription with a free starting level. Each user receives 4,000 neurocredits for testing. Specific subscription prices have not been announced at the time of publication - Yandex promised details for the first users from the waiting list.
Key Positioning by Price: Yandex compares Vibecraft to traditional development, where a corporate website with the involvement of a team can cost hundreds of thousands of rubles and take weeks. Vibecraft offers an alternative in the form of a working prototype in a few hours at start-up costs close to zero.
Market Context: Why It Is Right Now
A few figures that explain why Yandex has entered this niche right now:
About 36% of small businesses in Russia still work without a website due to budget constraints, time constraints and lack of technical skills. Less than 15% of small entrepreneurs use websites as a promotional channel, although almost half would like to create them.
It’s not an abstract “potential market” — it’s a specific, untapped need with an understandable barrier (cost and complexity) that Vibecraft is trying to remove.
The segment of no-code and low-code in Russia is growing by 40% per year and may reach 30 billion rubles by 2028. At the same time, Western no-code analogues are now unavailable for a significant part of Russian entrepreneurs. Yandex is entering the niche at a time when direct foreign competitors — Webflow, Bubble, Glide — have problems with accessibility within Russia.
What is different from competitors
In Russia, Vibecraft has several competing directions, with each of which the comparison is non-trivial.
Tilda, uKit, Flexbe are classic template builders. Vibecraft does not offer a set of ready-made layouts, but creates a structure for a specific task. Theoretically, this allows for more flexibility – practically meaning that the outcome is less predictable and requires more iterations to achieve the desired look.
Go.Dev (Yandex) is another Yandex proprietary product focused on static sites. Vibecraft is positioned as a broader platform with support for dynamic applications, database and business logic.
Claude Code, Lovable, v0 (Vercel) are foreign AI tools for code generation and interfaces. Technically similar in approach, but most of them are inaccessible directly in Russia without a VPN, paid by foreign cards and store data abroad.
The key structural advantage of Vibecraft is not the generation quality per se, but the link with the Russian infrastructure: close integration with the Yandex ecosystem ensures stability and scalability, plus the potential to quickly attract audiences through other ecosystem services.
Honest Limitations: What to Know Before Starting
There are a few things that are not mentioned in the press releases, but are worth considering.
Vibecraft is positioning itself as a tool for quick hypothesis testing, not as a replacement for professional development. It’s an honest position, but it means that what comes out in 5-10 minutes will need to be reworked before it can withstand the real load, complex integrations and security requirements.
** Uniformity of results.** Experts interviewed by the publication during the announcement, warn: the mass proliferation of AI-designers can lead to the emergence of a large number of similar sites. This is a common problem of the generative approach – the model generates from what it is trained on, and without a strong author’s prompt, the results converge to an average standard.
The role of the developer does not disappear. ** According to experts, AI will take on typical tasks, and people will focus on architecture, integrations, security and product logic. For the Vibecraft audience (small businesses, startups, product managers), this means that the service takes the first step faster, but does not replace the developer when the project grows out of the prototype stage.
Neurocredits are a limited resource. 4,000 credits at registration will allow you to evaluate opportunities, but will not give you an understanding of the real cost of continuous use - subscription prices have not yet been announced.
Who makes sense to
An entrepreneur or a team without a technical background who needs to quickly assemble an MVP or landing page to validate an idea – and still want to stay in the Russian infrastructure. This is the main audience for which Vibecraft was designed.
A product manager who needs a clickable prototype to present to investors or stakeholders without waiting for a developer.
A small business that still operates without a website due to development costs – Vibecraft reduces the entry threshold radically.
Vibcoder, who wants to try a Russian alternative to Lovable or v0 with data storage in Russia and payment in rubles.
Outcome
Vibecraft helps to turn an idea into a working prototype, check the interest of users and then decide on a full-fledged development. This is an honest formulation – and the right way to see a product is not as a replacement for development, but as a tool for stage zero, where you need to quickly test the viability of an idea without investing in the development until you get the first data.
Technically, Vibecraft relies on a reliable ecosystem (SourceCraft, Yandex Cloud, Yandex AI Studio), provides the user with code ownership and is advantageously positioned for the Russian market, from where most foreign analogues are now difficult to access. How the quality of generation meets expectations for real tasks will show the first weeks of public work and real user reviews.
